Instructor is a Legendary TV Set Decorator

Laura Richarz has worked on Cheers, True Blood, and Bunkd

A self-described “Air Force brat” who lived overseas as a child, Laura Richarz received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Idaho before moving to San Francisco where she worked in the Prop Shop of the The American Conservatory Theatre. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, she worked as a Set Decorator on iconic television shows such as Three’s Company, Cheers, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. More recently, her credits include The Parkers, Everybody Hates Chris, True Blood, Melissa & Joey, Jessie, and Bunk’d. In 2019, she received the Earl Cooperman Lifetime Achievement Award from the Set Decorators Society of America, and she is currently the organization’s President.
