Shannon Cottrell brings real-world knowledge to students
After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach, Shannon Cottrell worked as a Studio Manager for Studio1636 before striking out on her own as a professional photographer and artist. With more than a decade of experience, she’s created editorial, e-commerce fashion, and architecture images for a variety of clients, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, McDonald’s, BCBG, Who What Wear, American Express, and Clinique, among many others. She currently teaches Photo Direction and Photo Rendering in the Graphic Design B.A. program.
