Grad is a Creative Strategist in the Experience Industry
Kylie Poppen has worked with Disney, HBO, Marvel, and LOréal
Visual Communications valedictorian graduate Kylie Poppen attended high school in Agoura Hills, just outside of Los Angeles, and studied fashion merchandising at a community college prior to attending FIDM. "I couldn’t be more thankful for choosing a school that truly prepared me to succeed," says the 2014 alumna. "My courses in design and rendering programs, installation building, and brand marketing are absolutely essential to my career."
Today Kylie's based in New York City as a Creative Strategist in the Experience industry where she works with agencies and brands to create and adapt their experiential positioning within the quickly evolving industry landscape. “We are no longer an industry that just designs and produces events and parties,” she says. “We are responsible for creating 360 degree campaigns from start to finish that include IRL and IVL components.”
Her extensive portfolio includes experience design and production for Disney, HBO, Marvel, Estée Lauder Companies, L’Oréal, Mattel, and Blizzard, among others. Over the years, Kylie has also developed and produced projects at every major event from Coachella to Vidcon and beyond. “It's been an incredibly rewarding journey to be a part of an industry that's shaping today's culture,” she adds.
