Two FIDM Students Win Fashion Scholarship Fund Awards

Digital Marketing Student Kierra Stanek and Merchandise Product Development Student Stefanie Sauri have each received awards from the Fashion Scholarship Fund via their signature program the FSF Case Study Scholarship. The funds, which FSF increased to $7,500 from $5,000 to provide greater financial support to students during a time when it is needed the most, can be applied to any educational expense such as tuition, study abroad, and summer intern housing.

One hundred applicants were awarded the 2021 FSF Scholarship and 20 applicants were given Virgil Abloh’s “Post-Modern” Scholarship, which benefits Black students. Scholarship recipients like Kierra and Stefanie can join the FSF Mentor Program and select a mentor to work with during the year of their award. Winners also have access to internships and full-time jobs through FSF partner companies and corporate recruiters.

The Fashion Scholarship Fund supports the careers of the country’s most promising fashion students from all backgrounds by awarding over $1.2 million each year to help students succeed in all sectors of the industry, from design and merchandising to analytics, marketing, and supply chain, among others. Corporate sponsors include individuals and companies such as Kohl’s, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Ralph Lauren, and Perry Ellis, among others.

Congratulations to Kierra and Stefanie!
