Digital Marketing Grad Pankey Achieves Social Media Success

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, FIDM Alumna Pankey has put her A.A. in Digital Media to tremendous use, building a solid social media brand on Instagram and TikTok, where she’s garnered millions of views, and launched her own agency, Pankey Studios.

Pankey attended the High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan, and then LaGuardia Community College before transferring to FIDM to study Digital Marketing and graduating in 2020. We checked in with this creative entrepreneur to learn more.

Tell us about Pankey Studios: Pankey Studios is a creative agency where creativity and content meet. Specializing in creating concepts and executing visionary needs to the best ability through the lens and signature edit of Pankey Studios. I especially choose to highlight and showcase women of color, diversity, and uniqueness.

What are your ultimate goals for your company? The goal is to one day be the creative director for a brand and/or be a creative campaign director for brands.

How did FIDM help prepare you for your career? FIDM helped me prepare for my career by providing the atmosphere where being surrounded by creatives is the norm, and by helping me understand that my talents and gifts need to be expressed and shared with the world.
