Beauty Industry Management Grad Working at Too Faced Cosmetics

Millstone, New Jersey native Jessica Fernicola received a B.A. in Professional Studies with a specialization in Beauty Industry Management from FIDM in 2016, and now she's working as a Product Development Specialist at Too Faced Cosmetics, based in Irvine, California.

"I chose the degree program in BIM at FIDM to gain expert experiences and expand my knowledge of the beauty industry, while developing my network to include like-minded individuals and industry professionals," says Jessica, who interned at Stila Cosmetics while studying at FIDM. "The BIM program prepared me for my current and future career by building my managerial abilities and providing me with the confidence to showcase my skills and leadership style in the workplace."
 
Jessica's day-to-day responsibilities at Too Faced include concepting and developing innovative product ideas for future seasonal launches, while managing and finalizing existing projects before they hit stores. "The thing I love most about my current position is being able to view future trends, new innovative product ideas, and advanced technologies, years before they hit the market or media," she says. "This was something I did not have knowledge of, or access to, prior to getting into the industry."
