Laura Jenkins creates designer party dresses seen in Vanity Fair UK

Laura Jenkins received a B.A. in Business/Advertising Management from Portland State University, but had a dream to design dresses. In 2012, she made the move to Los Angeles to study Merchandise Product Development at FIDM and “truly felt alive” for the first time in her life. While at the college, she was part of the Premier Product Development Group and received the Student of the Year Award. After graduating, she worked for brands such as Paige, Perry Ellis, and The Collected Group. Six years into her industry career, Laura made her longtime dream come true when she founded Laura Vivienne, a collection of designer party dresses that’s been featured in Vanity Fair UK and seen on the red carpet at the Creative Arts Emmys. In 2019, she returned to her alma mater as an instructor.
