Erik Dagnino Soto

Product Development Coordinator for TOMS Eyewear

Erik Dagnino Soto, a recent Merchandise Product Development Graduate, is currently in Eyewear Product Development at TOMS, where he assists the Head Designer/Product Developer with development tasks, develops CADS and line sheets, manages and coordinates sample distribution, and more. "From the second I walked into TOMS HQ I knew this was where I belonged and I was going to give 100 percent everyday," he says.

"TOMS has given me a whole new perspective on work and life in general. I've never been in a job atmosphere where everyone is happy all the time." Erik says that he feels blessed being part of a company with such an important mission (TOMS donates a pair of shoes for every pair sold and is now helping give sight to a person in need for every pair of TOMS glasses sold).

Erik began at TOMS as an intern, an opportunity that happened because the company was recruiting at FIDM. "Everything I was taught in school I'm implementing everyday at work," he adds. "I feel that FIDM taught me how to be a Product Developer and a professional as well."
