Grad is a Buyer and Product Developer at Miss Lola

Elizabeth Zaragoza has three different FIDM degrees

When Elizabeth Zaragoza was first thinking about applying to FIDM, she assumed she'd major in Fashion Design. "I was all I knew at the time," she explains, "but after meeting with my Admissions Advisor, she listened to what I was interested in, and what I saw myself doing in the future. It was then I decided to go with Merchandise Product Development."

She also learned about the International Manufacturing & Product Development (IMPD) Advanced Study Program, and knew she wanted to continue her education. "A bachelor's degree was also a personal goal from the get-go, so I had the opportunity to carry over units from IMPD and complete my bachelor's degree [in Business Management] in one year," she says.

After most recently working as an Associate Designer for Forever 21, Elizabeth is currently a Buyer and Product Developer for Miss Lola. Fortunately, the L.A. resident has felt more than prepared for her fast-paced career. "I gained so much from my four years at FIDM," she says. "Everything I learned applies to my everyday work life."
