Dani Cinelli grew up in a small town outside of Boston as a triplet who considers counts her siblings as best friends. In 2013, she headed west to study Merchandise Product Development and International Manufacturing & Product Development. “FIDM gave me the tools, opportunity, and support to gain knowledge and experience which has brought me closer to achieving my dream,” she says.
She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies with a specialization in IMPD. The unique online program allowed Dani the chance to live in New York City where she interned at Ralph Lauren and most recently worked as an Associate Designer position with MGF Sourcing, designing for New York & Company Outlet Stores.
“FIDM is not like other colleges,” she says. “I always knew I wanted to design, but wanted to learn as much as I could about the fashion industry, so I accepted internships in production, technical design, and design. Follow your dreams—they do come true. I am living mine.”
