Grad's Interior Design Project Featured in Dwell

Interior Design and Business Management Graduate Xander Noori’s design of a Newport Beach home is featured in Dwell. Creative director Xander and managing director Keon Khajavi-Noori approached the courtyard-style, seaside residence with a design that’s airy, laid back, and decidedly Californian.

“We call it soft modern,” Xander told Dwell of the Orange County home that features sweeping ocean views. The design team used interesting textures, layered textiles, cool stone, and warm wood and incorporated fixtures from House of Rohl to create a memorable space that’s welcoming and cozy.

Xander, who designed around 75 percent of the contemporary furnishings in the home, added: "Our clients live on the razor’s edge of their industries, but at the end of the day, they wanted the residence to feel homey."
