Hannah Lagana's Moulin Rouge DEBUT Collection Inspired by Cyberpunk

Advanced Study Theatre Costume Design Student Hannah Lagana is currently creating Moulin Rouge costumes for the characters Harold Zidler, can-can dancers, and Santiago, the Argentinian, for FIDM’s Annual DEBUT Runway Show event live-streaming on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 5:00 PM PDT. Prior to FIDM, she attended Academy of the Canyons, a middle college high school in Southern California, and graduated from high school with her diploma as well as her Associate of Arts degree in Costume Design from College of the Canyons. We chatted with Hannah to learn more about her designs, inspiration, and how FIDM is getting her closer to her career goals.
