Rachel Zoe Shows Spring 2018 in LA

Los Angeles-based designer Rachel Zoe showed her Spring 2018 Ready to Wear collection in Los Angeles, and ahead of New York Fashion Week, at Sunset Tower. Inspired by 1970s glamour, she found inspiration in Slim Aaron's iconic "Poolside Gossip" photo. "This was really the collection to pay tribute to California life and California women," she told Women's Wear Daily. 

The collection included oversized sequined palm-leaf prints, slim caftans, short suits, bias-cut dresses in a pink cactus flower print, plunging neckline gowns, and modern takes on bridal dresses. Guests at the show included Jessica Alba, Goldie Hawn, Chrissy Teigen, Nicole Richie, Selma Blair, Jennifer Meyer, and Erin and Sara Foster. 

FIDM Grads like Jordan Johnson have worked for the celebrity stylist-turned-designer over the years.
