Apparel News Covers Fashion Design Grad Octavio Carlin's New Line

California Apparel News features Los Angeles-based designer and Fashion Design graduate Octavio Carlin's ready-to-wear comeback.

After taking a few years off from ready-to-wear to focus on costume design and custom pieces for private clients, the award-winning fashion designer has introduced a new made-in-Los Angeles line, Teatro Clothing. Curated by creative designer and photographer Ricardo Mora. According to Apparel News, Teatro's styles cover men's and women's shirts, pants, and printed t-shirts.

The e-boutique also sells limited-edition jackets, as well as the Octavio Carlin Capsule, a high-end collection of eveningwear inspired by the 1920s. Retail price points range from $100 to $500. “After so many questions coming from Instagram and Facebook about where to buy the clothes, I’m so happy and proud to present this new e-store where the designs are available to everyone in the world," Octavio said.

"I am amazed on how the internet has opened so many doors and now everyone has the opportunity to reach out, find, and buy what they really want in this way. That is why the company is putting so much of an effort to present the clothing in a super easy way where clients can access them any time of the day, and night.”

Octavio, who previously had a boutique in West Hollywood and showed at Los Angeles Fashion Week, said he returned to ready-to-wear because it's equally as creative and satisfying as costume design. "Fashion to me is like a drug," he told Apparel News. "I can never let it go."
