Announcement from FIDM's Board of Administration

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) announced today that it will refocus the institution specifically around academic programs in business in fashion and other creative industries, in response to the significant demand for education in this vital sector. This decision complements our work with Arizona State University (ASU), which has announced that it will expand fashion programs in Los Angeles under the name ASU FIDM. As part of this transition, FIDM students in art and design programs can choose to continue their education at ASU. More information about the ASU FIDM transition can be found here. The FIDM Governing Board and the Board of Administration will continue to govern, guide, and oversee FIDM’s evolution, and we remain as committed as ever to meeting the needs of our students.
