Costumes from Game of Thrones, Outlander, and More at Annual FIDM Museum Exhibition
The FIDM Museum & Galleries and the Television Academy are jointly presenting the "Art of Television Costume Design," their 10th annual exhibition, saluting the work of this year's Emmy-nominated Costume Designers, Costume Supervisors, and Assistant Costume Designers. Emmy-nominated costumes from eight television shows (Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story: Hotel, Empire, Outlander, The Good Wife, Roots, and Transparent) are included in the exhibition. Over 100 costumes from 23 television shows such as The Man in the High Castle, Scream Queens, Black-ish, Veep, and The Walking Dead are on view.
The public exhibition is free and runs today through Saturday, October 15, 2016. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Below are photos from the exhibition's Opening Reception, which was held over the weekend.
