Instructor Was Visual and Merchandising Manager at Bloomingdale's

Brandy Alexanian shares 30 years of real-world experience with students

Brandy Alexanian is working professional in the field of visual communications. Since October of 2021, she has held a position as Visual Merchandiser at Anthropologie and also consults as a freelance Visual Artist. After earning her degree in Visual Communications from FIDM, she worked as a Visual Stylist for Kohl’s, an Assistant Visual Manager for Hecht’s, and spent 15 years at the iconic department store Bloomingdale’s, where she was the Visual and Merchandising Manager at the famed Beverly Center location in Los Angeles, and then Santa Monica Place in 2020. She returned to her alma mater in 2020 as an instructor to share her decades of experience in visuals and merchandising.
