Instructor is a Distinguished Footwear Designer

Lana Andes has worked for brands such as Candies, LA Gear, and Esprit Kids

After receiving an A.A. in Merchandising & Merchandising from FIDM, Lana Andes studied Footwear & Accessories Design at Fashion Institute of Technology, where she received the Lentzel Cohen Scholarship and graduated with honors. She also received an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Women’s Footwear Design and Patternmaking from Scuola di Modellista Calzaturieri in Italy. Prior to teaching at FIDM, Lana was the Design Director for Esprit Kids Footwear and the Director of Product Development for Candies, Sam & Libby, and LA Gear.
