Veteran and Fashion Design Student Amy Clark to Show Artwork at RAW Event

On March 20, 2019, FIDM Student Amy Clark will show her artwork at RAW Natural Born Artists' Reflect in Downtown Los Angeles.

The Fashion Design Student, who will appear under the name A. Lynne Originals, is originally from Pensacola, Florida. Prior to attending FIDM, Amy worked in Operations Intelligence as an all source intelligence analyst for the U.S. military, and was stationed in Texas, South Korea, England, and Washington state before moving to Los Angeles.

She initially found the college through a Google search. "I spoke with the loveliest woman who helped me through the whole process," she said. Amy, who joined the military at age 21, is utilizing the GI Bill to study at FIDM. In addition to her course load and the art she creates, the veteran pursues freelance photography on the side.

With the event just a month away, Amy said she feels "really great" but still has a lot of work to do. "The majority of my art has been custom pieces for different clients over the past few years," she said, "so I'm working on some more pieces that would be more sellable at an event like this."

RAW Reflect will be held at Exchange LA at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. FIDM Jewelry Design Grad and Army veteran Latoya Boyd will also be on hand at the same event to show her eponymous jewelry line.
