Lady Gaga Wears Candice Cuoco in Beauty Holiday Campaign

Award-winning designer, Project Runway season 14 finalist, and Fashion Design Graduate Candice Cuoco has racked up accolades and celebrity fans thanks to her avant-garde sensibility. Most recently, Lady Gaga wore a custom tulle bodysuit by Cuoco for her HAUS LABORATORIES Cosmic Love Holiday Collection campaign. 

The sheer tulle long-sleeved Valentina bodysuit has velvet trim along the waist and neckline and massive pleated, lion-like wrist cuffs. The beauty brand highlights the unique garment in a series of images used in their holiday campaign. One of the photos debuted on Lady Gaga’s Instagram account, which has more than 38 million followers.

“This page and these words don’t hold the magnitude of emotions I’m feeling right now,” Cuoco wrote on Instagram. “I got into this fashion game because I saw Lady Gaga‘s ‘Bad Romance’ video, fashion directed by Nicola Formichetti and wearing Alexander McQueen when he was alive. That’s when I knew there was a place for me in fashion.”

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Cuoco attended FIDM San Francisco and is now based in Los Angeles. She’s shown her self-titled collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, as well as at London, Paris, and Los Angeles fashion weeks, and has been featured in Vogue and ELLE, among other publications.
