Hermes Seeks LA Buzz

Venerable fashion house Hermes chose Los Angeles as the site for their men's fashion show for the first time in its 180-year history. Dwntown Men, their modern line of leather pants and knit polos, was shown at a downtown event "designed to embrace the city's dazzling spirit," says the New York Times. French Fashion Director Veronique Nichanian loves the West Coast. "It has magnificent energy—with music, technology, and contemporary art. It is a place of the moment, where I'd like to be."
