DEBUT Designers Show at El Paseo Fashion Week

For the eleventh year, Fashion Week El Paseo, produced by Palm Springs Life, presented FIDM DEBUT designers showcasing their first-ever fashion collections.

Nine 2018 Advanced Fashion Design graduates showed their inspired designs to a packed house in Palm Desert, California. Each designer worked for over nine months to create the 10- to 12-piece collections, ranging in styles from sportswear to dramatic gowns.

After receiving an Associate of Arts degree, students are chosen each year to participate in this prestigious 3rd year program. Participants are chosen based on overall grade point average, references, portfolio review, talent, skill level and formal interviews with Department Chairs from FIDM.
