Director Tina Perez Invited To Speak at Pro Safety Beauty Summit

The Director of Beauty Marketing & Product Development and Beauty Business Management, Tina Perez has been invited to speak at The Pro Safety Beauty Summit, January 11-13, 2021, as a panelist in "Future Proof Your Beauty Brand: Lessons from Safety Education Experts & Resources." The summit is a free, virtual event and offers three days of over 70 speakers and 20 sessions with top beauty professionals, covering curated safety products and current safety protocols.

Tina has been directing and shaping the teaching processes and curricula for the Bachelor's and Associates Degree beauty programs at FIDM for the last eight years. She works with educational committees and an industry advisory board to develop curricula designed to meet the needs of our students. As a director, she also advises and mentors students on career development and internships.

Her extensive experience in health and beauty care includes positions as VP of Global Marketing at Markwins Beauty Products and Director of Trade Marketing at Schwarzkopf & Dep, where she developed and executed highly effective marketing, communication, and brand strategies. 

Bringing her industy experience into the classroom, she teaches courses in Global Marketing, Current Industry Topics, Merchandising, Social Media, Fundamentals of Cosmetics, and Brand Imaging, and has received the Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award multiple times.

As a member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) and Beauty Industry West (BIW), Tina is actively involved in the beauty industry. She earned her M.A. in Persuasion and Social Change from Pepperdine and her Bachelor's from Cal State Fullerton.
