Rebecca Eliason has extensive industry knowledge
Rebecca Eliason started sewing as a young girl. She received an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Design from FIDM and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design from Fashion Institute of Technology prior to entering the industry. For more than three decades, she’s worked as a Fashion Designer, Design Consultant, and Design Director specializing in womenswear for companies such as Jane Doe, Skinnie Minnie, US Boys, JNCO, and Krista Lee, among others. Rebecca returned to FIDM in 2006 and has been an instructor ever since. In addition to teaching and sharing her extensive industry knowledge with students, she has written and updated curriculum and participated in faculty development and student mentoring.
