Katy Perry and Firework Foundation Visit FIDM

Celebrity Katy Perry and her Firework Foundation visited FIDM's Downtown Los Angeles campus last week in partnership with FIDM for a reunion of Firework Foundation's 2022 Camp Firework programs. Their campers upcycled and designed their own clothing with the help from FIDM Instructors. They also participated in team building activities with Camp Firework staff and reunited with their camp family. 

The Firework Foundation’s mission is to empower children from underserved communities by igniting their inner light through the arts. Camp Firework's campers come from areas surrounding Santa Barbara, where Katy is originally from, and extend all the way to Burbank.
