DEBUT Student Describes Her Collection as Alice in Wonderland x Streetwear x Renaissance

With an artist for a mother and a musician for a father, Bella Madden has been immersed in a creative universe her entire life. She attended Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, then Austin Community College before moving to Los Angeles to study Fashion Design at FIDM. She will be showing her collection, “Whimsy,” in FIDM’s Annual DEBUT Runway Show live-streaming on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 5:00 PM PDT. We caught up with the inspiring and talented designer to learn more about her creative journey.
