FIDM Hosts Entrepreneur of Tomorrow Challenge

DECA invites its student members to enter the FIDM Entrepreneur of Tomorrow Challenge, which asks students to create an entrepreneurial proposal for a new product idea for a specific market segment. Participants can now pitch a new clothing, beauty, home, health, food, or entertainment concept in a four-minute YouTube video presentation describing the target market, product offering, marketing launch strategy, and more.

Each entry will be composed of one to three members of a DECA chapter (chapters may submit multiple entries for consideration), and participants may spend no more than $25 to create a prototype and/or the development of a marketing and distribution strategy. FIDM will evaluate all submitted video presentations and select the top three overall teams. From the final three videos, an overall winning team will be selected.

Submissions are due February 7, 2021.

Since 1946, DECA has been preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the world.
