Instructor Shaun Samson Featured in Women's Wear Daily

As London Fashion Week Men’s pivots to a gender-inclusive digital event, Women’s Wear Daily took a look back at some of the buzzed-about names from over the years to see what they’re up to now. One of those designers is California-born FIDM Graduate and Instructor Shaun Samson, who currently teaches in the Design B.A. program. 

After receiving an A.A. in Fashion Design and an additional A.A. Advanced Study degree in International Manufacturing & Product Development from FIDM, Shaun moved to London and earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Fashion Menswear from Central Saint Martins. While completing his studies, Shaun worked on four collections for Jeremy Scott and eventually launched his own self-titled menswear label.

Under his eponymous line, Shaun showed at London Fashion Week in 2011, and was also part of New Gen, showing during London Collections: Men. Since closing his brand in 2015, Shaun joined Moschino, where he is currently a senior designer. Shaun's role reunited him with Scott, who serves as the legendary house’s creative director.
