Summer Program

Experience FIDM as a student on campus this summer.

In our three-day Pre-College Summer Program For High School Students, "FIDM Design Festival," we’re offering a power-packed lineup of hands-on workshops, engaging presentations, guest speaker panels, campus tours, and more—all structured to offer insight and foster passion for the creative industries.

Students engage in multi-day project-based learning exercises--centered around the theme of a music festival--that will give them hands-on experience in the areas of fashion, merchandising, marketing, interior design, visual communications, digital marketing, and more. Through seminars, workshops, and work sheets, teams of 12-15 students embark on an unforgettable journey that culminates in a festival in Grand Hope Park.

Students choose their favorite track: Fashion, Marketing, or Beauty; and by the end of the three-day program, they will be exposed to key industry concepts including:

Target Consumer
Demographics
Psychographics
Ideation & Sketching
Concepting
Prototypes
Effective Communication
