Beauty Influencer Patrick Starrr Comes to FIDM!

YouTube beauty expert/mega-influencer Patrick Starrr posed inside of an elaborate window display at FIDM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. The appearance was part of a collaboration between FIDM's Visual Communications Students in a Design Installation class, led by seasoned instructor Paul Olszewski. The window showcases a large vibrant butterfly constructed with materials such as makeup brushes, sponges, and large, dramatic eyelashes, touting Starrr's mantra, "Life opens up when you do." 

Starrr has worked with such celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Tyra Banks, Jessie J, Shay Mitchell, and Keke Palmer, as well as the brands, Tarte, Benefit, and Anastasia Beverly Hills, among others. Starrr is known for his iconic fashion sense and his progressive, gender-bending persona. The window will be up on the Los Angeles campus until late September.
