Career Development goes hand-in-hand with curriculum

Our Career Center has cultivated a database of thousands of employer contacts nationwide with the singular goal of providing industry-related internships and employment opportunities for our students and alumni.

Apparel Business Owner

Create your own clothing line. Own and operate a clothing line or related business and oversee every aspect of the company from the vision to marketing and production.

Trend Forecaster

Predict the future. Be the go-to person and main resource for style alerts, seasonal predictions, and up-and-coming designers. Good forecasters are aware of current trends and declining trends by paying close attention to fashion outlets such as the movie and music industry, magazines, blogs, and runway. You'll hone your creative skills to brainstorm new patterns, textures, and themes.

Designer

Create haute new looks. Design at least four lines each year, traveling to exciting fashion markets around the world - think Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Oversee all aspects of the design room, including concepts, sketches, fabrics, and trends.

Senior Designer

Create and lead. Conceptualize and design solutions from concept to completion. Direct the work of one or more designers on a Design Team who create for a category of business or a complete collection.

Design Director

Provide a creative vision. Lead a Design Team in developing designs that match your creative vision. Design Directors have strong merchandising knowledge and an ability to communicate with the Sales Team, along with essential technical skills and fabric sourcing knowledge.
