Grad Sebastian Gunawan Stages Fashion Show at LAX

Acclaimed Indonesian fashion designer Sebastian Gunawan, who studied Fashion Design at FIDM, recently showed 25 of his exquisite couture designs at LAX's Tom Bradley International Terminal. The unique fashion show was the first of its kind.

"Los Angeles International Airport is on the leading edge of design and innovation, just like Sebastian Gunawan's couture designs," said Deborah Flint (pictured above), CEO of LAX operator, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). The show is part of the airport's commitment to showcasing local artists who have developed their talents in Los Angeles.

Twenty models from various LA-based agencies walked the unconventional runway wearing the luxurious and sophisticated designs Gunawan is known for, while airplanes and the currently under construction Midfield Satellite Concourse, set to open mid-2020, provided the backdrop.
