The Metropolitan at FIDM Named One of Top 12 Most Incredible Dorms Around the World

INSIDER recently published a story on 12 of the most incredible dorms from around the world, and The Metropolitan at FIDM in Los Angeles made the list.

The roundup features unique and architecturally significant dorm settings such as the colorful 300-room Spacebox in Utrecht, Netherlands and The Cité a Docks in Le Havre, France, which is repurposed from shipping containers.

Writing about The Met, located right across the street from FIDM's Los Angeles campus, INSIDER says: "Housing fit for the rich and famous awaits students at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. It features a 24-hour doorman and all of the amenities young designers need like a sewing room and laundry facilities."

In addition, The Met has a card-access system, fitness center, a pool and two hydro-massage spas, a recreation room with movie viewing/large screen TV room, and a landscaped garden. There's also an on-site study room with four drafting tables.
