Amanda Starling, Department Chairperson for the Advanced Study programs, International Manufacturing & Product Development and Business of Denim, shares how FIDM prepares students for the industry. In the IMPD program, students travel to Europe for inspiration and trend research and to Asia for first-hand experience in sourcing and production. In Business of Denim, students experience an in-depth global study tour where they visit the entire product development cycle from the mill to the retail floor.
