Reggie Aguiluz is the Founder of LA-based VDE, LLC

Where were you born and raised? Escondido, California, which is in North County San Diego.

What was your path to FIDM? I’ve always been inspired by fashion growing up and had an interest in learning the process of both design and manufacturing, which led me to FIDM. 

What were the most valuable skills you learned at FIDM? Designing using computer-aided design (CAD) software, different types of fabrications and their usages, understanding the apparel process, and being hands-on with the manufacturing process of pattern making, cutting, and sewing. 

Tell us about your business VDE, LLC. We are a full package resource that develops, samples and produces apparel both domestically and overseas. Some of our clientele include Marshmello, Slushii, PacSun, Urban Outfitters, Facebook, Diplo, Kanye West, Audi, McLaren, Top Rank Boxing, Baja Beach Fest, and Steve Angelo, among others.
