Textile Design Experience

The Experience

The Textile Design Program prepares students for successful careers in the creation and styling of printed and woven textiles for the apparel and interior design industries. FIDM's Textile Design Graduates are designing fabric on everything from wallpaper and carpet to couture and sportswear. Our Textile Design students and graduates have designed for many of the world’s most renowned brands such as Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Mossimo for Target as well as launched their own companies and lines.

Career Opportunities

Our Career Center has cultivated a database of thousands of employer contacts nationwide with the singular goal of providing industry-related internships and employment for our students and graduates throughout their careers.
