Celebrity Makeup Artist Grad Named Makeup Director of Sociolla

Celebrity makeup artist Archangela Chelsea, who works in her native Indonesia and the U.S., earned degrees in Beauty Marketing & Product Development and Business Management from FIDM. In her illustrious career, she’s worked for America’s Next Top Model, Lanvin, and Surabaya Fashion Week, and has clients such as Olivia Munn, Leighton Meester, Chriselle Lim, Jeannie Mai, and Elizabeth Olsen, among others. Archangela was recently featured in the Jakarta Post since she was named Makeup Director of the beauty e-commerce site, Sociolla. 

According to the publication, Archangela, who started her career at age 16, “will share inspiring content about beauty trends, including tips and tricks about unique makeup.” She will also become a makeup guru of Pink University, an annual program on Sociolla that allows users to learn about makeups and skincare routines. Before Archangela returned to Indonesia in 2016, she was a Beauty Editor for Composure Magazine and Attract Magazine, and worked for Stila as a Makeup Artist. 

“Makeup and the beauty world, in general, has been my passion for so long, and I'm so proud to be able to work alongside Indonesia's best beauty site,” she wrote in a post on Instagram announcing her new role. “You will see so much more of my signature #glazeskin look that you can achieve with products from Sociolla's 100% authentic & BPOM registered curated products.” Archangela has nearly 60,000 followers on Instagram where she shares editorial work, tutorials, and snippets from her international lifestyle.
