Announcing the Launch of the FIDM x High School Mentorship Program

The college is excited to announce the launch of the "FIDM x High School Mentorship Program," offering a unique look into collegiate coursework and industry aligned projects.

Each program offers interaction within a discipline for which FIDM readies its graduates. The hands-on approach offers students the chance to develop skills in preparation for college and a career. Working closely on a real world collaboration, participants will be immersed in an industry setting within a unique educational experience.

Students will have the opportunity to participate and interact with advanced students, gain valuable insight into the industry, and complete a project ready for college applications and interviews.

High school students will meet with their FIDM student mentor over three (3) remote sessions, culminating in a mentoring session with an instructor at FIDM who will review their completed project.

Ideal students will have some background or interest in design or product development and are looking to diversify and grow their skills. Applications are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school who meet certain requirements.

FIDM is passionate about developing the innovative leaders of our future, and we look forward to partnering with high schools across the country.
