Job Ready Dress

Job applicants often have limited knowledge about the impact of their dress on employers.

In a job interview, attire affects the prospects of getting a job offer; once on the job, it affects prospects for promotion. This presentation helps students develop a better understanding of what they should wear and why, by breaking down dress into a three-tiered approach: entry-level, mid-management, and corporate management/corporate creative. By understanding each of these tiers, students will be prepared for their first interview and any opportunity to advance in the future. The presentation concludes with a game called What’s Wrong with This Picture? where students put their new knowledge to the test.
