Director Anthony Minghella's epic Cold Mountain starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, and Renee Zellweger received seven Academy Award nominations. Costume Designers Carlo Poggioli and Ann Roth (who won an Oscar for her work on The English Patient) designed the Civil War era costumes.
