Internationally recognized as a master shoe designer, Andrea Pfister has pursued a flawless career creating innovative shoes that have adorned the feet of some of the world's most known celebrities.

His exquisitely designed shoes, embellished with sequins, multicolored pearls, and lavish embroidery, attest to his individual creativity and craftsmanship. Gaining inspiration from taking extensive trips worldwide, he twice yearly retreats to Positano, Italy, to prepare his new collections.

Andrea Pfister, when composing a new design, starts with color and revises his prototypes in several stages, balancing aesthetics, originality and comfort. The end result is a shoe that is elegant and original.

FIDM is proud to pay tribute to Andrea Pfister. This traveling exhibit has been shown in France, Canada and New York and was featured in the FIDM gallery. It ran from September 21, 1998 through December 10, 1998. The exhibit included over 400 pairs of originally designed shoes and boots.
