New Design Grad Scores Paid Internship With Rachel Zoe

Heewon Moon, who received a B.A in Design in June, is now a paid intern at Rachel Zoe, where she works with the collection's design team.

"At the recent B.A. Design Exhibition, an HR person from Rachel Zoe came up to me and asked for interview," she says. "She loved my designs and all the hand work of my collection. I felt blessed that my garments were in the center of the FIDM Museum and truly thank to FIDM for offering a variety of opportunities to students."

Originally from Korea, Heewon studied abroad in China for several years before moving to Los Angeles. In addition to interning at Halston and Vera Wang while in school, she has participated in the Red Dress Project and FIDM's Chairing Styles. "My ultimate goal is to be a well-known fashion CEO/designer," she says. "And I'd like to have my own charity fashion shows globally and spread love and dreams worldwide."
