What do you love about your work? I work for myself and designing has always been a part of me, so every day I'm always very motivated and passionate to do clients' work--there's never a dull day for me. I always get so excited when I get a new client. I am able to learn to design different kinds of products and try new things and I'm very blessed to get the chances I'm getting every day.

What are some recent projects that you've been excited to work on lately? My most recent projects include designing a restaurant's interior and doing collateral for a hotel (luggage tags, business cards, key holder to restaurant menu--basically everything).

How did your education at FIDM prepare you for a career? I learned that there are so many skills I achieved at school that I wasn't aware of. A FIDM instructor introduced me to The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, which I use in my working life all the time. My internships during my time in FIDM at Fanscape and the Los Angeles Clippers molded me into being a better designer. I learned a lot and experienced everything first-hand and I had fun too.

What advice do you have for current or future FIDM Students?
My only advice is to dream big. I got the chance to work for the NBA which is pretty great. Start and learn from the bottom and just enjoy the journey. Get as many internships as possible because you won't believe how much experience you will get from them.
