Fashion brands are focussing social media marketing efforts on Instagram for the moment, letting their Snapchat accounts go quiet. Facebook-owned Instagram made a commitment to commerce by supplying more consumer analytics behind their "Stories," while Snapchat maintains greater privacy. Alyssa Bronander of Rent-the-Runway tells Digiday, "We can see more information around customer behavior once they leave the social platform than with Snapchat."
