The hit HBO series, which returned for its second season last night, has been lauded for accurately portraying the way contemporary women in a major American city like Los Angeles  dress. In the Q&A, James talks about favorite looks from the first season, how she breaks down a script, and the collaboration between the show's director, writers, and hair and makeup artists.
