Colette, Paris' chic shop for fashion, music, art and design gives a rare interview to the New York Times in celebration of 20 years in retail. The concept store known globally for its unique merchandise is a very personal reflection of the taste of two women—Colette Roussaux and her daughter Sarah Andelman. Mother runs the store operations and daughter is the store's sole buyer. What does she look for on international buying trips: "It has to be different, something unto itself, that is of high quality and that we've never seen before." Creative collaborations have included: Jay Z, Drake, and Pharrell Williams.
