Recruiters Visit the LA Campus for Industry Expo

Recruiters from top companies visited the Los Angeles campus this morning offering exciting opportunities to students and grads in the fields of design, product development, visual merchandising, and more. Representatives from companies including Revolve, Brighton Collectibles, Guitar Center, Guess, Fashion Nova, CB2, Azazie, Kate Spade, COS, and West Elm were on hand for networking.

Our Industry Expo event, organized by the Career Center, is a great opportunity for students and grads to meet and network with top industry professionals and recruiters, share their resumes, and learn about potential job openings. Dozens of companies participate from across our industries on a regular basis.

Several of the companies represented are recruiting for positions at their corporate offices near the LA campus.

Brighton is looking for designers in charms, handbags, and jewelry; Forever 21, employing about 1,000 people at their headquarters in Lincoln Heights, has numerous opportunities in buying, design, production, product development, e-commerce, global creative, global operations, and planning and allocation; and Guitar Center, based out of Westlake Village where they employ about 700, is recruiting for positions in merchandising and marketing, among other positions.

With their design offices in LA’s fashion district, Revolve is filling positions in design, buying, and product development, among others. Three FIDM graduates who work in product development at Revolve were at the table answering questions, including Rhianna Wiley, Kelsey Yokoyama, and Evelyn Molina.

COS is recruiting for brand ambassadors for their stores on Beverly Drive and in Century City, and CB2 is looking for the right candidates for their West Hollywood retail location.
