After Balenciaga and Ralph Lauren, Jewelry Designer Ashley Porter Strikes Gold
Jewelry designer and FIDM Graduate Ashley Porter worked for Balenciaga and Ralph Lauren in New York before moving to New Orleans, where her family heritage goes back to the 1860s, to launch her fine jewelry line. Porter Lyons, which has been featured in W, Shape, and ELLE Japan, among other publications, has its first retail location in the city's historic French Quarter. InStore magazine recently caught up with Ashely to learn more.
