FIDM offers a unique set of presentations and hands-on workshops that are sure to jump start your interest in design and creative business.
Experts from FIDM will:
- Inspire your imagination through classroom activities and guide you through the creative process.
- Give you the inside track on various creative based careers.
- Answer your questions about what it is like being a successful professional working in design based industries.
Please note that some workshops are only available at specific campuses.
The Principles and Elements of Design
When:
April 27, 2013
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
At this workshop, students will learn the key technical principles and visual elements of design. Student will see how these integral components are thoughtfully applied by all designers. Students will also have the exclusive opportunity to view original designer pieces from the FIDM Museum Study Collection, then compare and contrast the garments using the design principles they learned.
Workshop Fee: $25
