Who can attend?

This event is open to all high school students.

How much does 3 Days of Fashion cost?

The cost of 3 Days of Fashion is $300.00 per student and $65 for per parent/guardian (limit 2 per student).

Does the fee include lodging and transportation?

Lodging and transportation to and from 3 Days of Fashion are not included. For information about hotels located in the surrounding areas of the campus, please visit our hotel information page.

What are the program hours?

3 Days of Fashion hours vary from campus to campus. Please check the agenda of the campus you wish to attend for the program hours.

Are meals included?

Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided each day.

  • Orange County: June 22 – 24, 2015
  • San Francisco: June 23 – June 25, 2015
  • Los Angeles: June 25 – 27, 2015
  • San Diego: June 29 – July 1, 2015

All campuses offer similar programs and workshops. However, the daily activities vary as they are planned uniquely for each campus.

What are the program details?

Each day consists of hands-on workshops and guest speakers from the fashion, merchandising, and marketing industries. Please preview the agendas.

Can my parents attend with me?

We are always happy to see parents at 3 Days of Fashion! They are invited to attend the Parent Orientation to learn more about FIDM and to get answers to all their questions relating to the admissions process, financial aid, housing, and the 25+ majors offered at FIDM. Parents can also participate in the Parent Programs created especially for them at 3 Days of Fashion. There is a registration fee of $65 for the Parent Program. What is the last day to register for this event?

Space is extremely limited and can fill up quickly. The registration deadlines for the campuses are as follows:

  • Orange County: June 11, 2015
  • San Francisco: June 12, 2015
  • Los Angeles: June 16, 2015
  • San Diego: June 18, 2015

All information must be received by the deadline of the campus you will be attending. Cancellations accepted before the registration deadline receive a $250 refund. No refunds will be issued for any cancellations after the registration deadline of the campus you will be attending.

How do I register for this event?

Register online! Go to the RSVP page and choose your campus of interest.

Students Please Note: This will only secure your space for the 3 Days of Fashion. To finish your registration process, you will need to complete and submit the Parent/Guardian Release Form once your payment has been submitted.

What if I can't attend 3 Days of Fashion?

If you cannot attend the 3 Days of Fashion but want to know more about FIDM, request more information about FIDM and all of our exciting majors!

What do I wear?

Several of our workshops include the use of paints and other mediums, so please dress appropriately. Clothing should always be college appropriate (not be too short or revealing). Be mindful that you will have the opportunity to participate in Rock the Runway, and take a photo with Nick Verreos, so you may want to refer to the pre-assigned schedule that you will receive on Day 1 before getting ready for each day.

If I'm coming with a friend, can we be in the same group?

Yes. If you’d like to participate in 3 Days of Fashion with a friend, please call Kristin Booth at kbooth@fidm.edu (800-262-3436 x1990).

Do I need to bring money?

There are numerous shopping opportunities at 3 Days of Fashion. Please refer to the pre-assigned schedule that you will receive on Day 1 for destination details. You may also decide to bring cash for on-site vending machines.

Do I need to bring supplies?

No, all supplies will be provided for you.
